New Mexico State Aggies Aim to Snap Losing Streak Against New Mexico Lobos
Aggies Hope to End Five-Year Drought
Las Cruces, N.M.
Oct 15 2022 at 1139 pm ET The New Mexico State Aggies haven't won a contest against the New Mexico Lobos since Sept 9 of 2017 but they'll be looking to end the drought on Saturday.
The Lobos are a solid 7-point favorite against the Aggies, who are coming off a 31-21 loss to the Wyoming Cowboys. New Mexico State is 1-4 this season, while the Lobos are 3-2.
The Aggies will need to play their best game of the season to beat the Lobos. They'll need to be physical on both sides of the ball and they'll need to make big plays on special teams.
If the Aggies can pull off the upset, it would be a huge boost to their program. It would also be a great way to start the second half of the season.
The game will be played at Aggie Memorial Stadium in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. MT.
